The newest available version is 2.4.2. The main reason for its release is change of Minizinc standard, the newest version handles Minizinc 1.1. In order to download JaCoP you have to click on the following link to get zip file containing sources of JaCoP and examples. JaCoP uses JDom for XML handling, which you need to download separately. One of the ways to try JaCoP from sources is to create an Eclipse project, add jdom.jar and run examples. You need to have Java 1.6 to be able to run JaCoP.

It is also possible to download an executable JaCoP jar file, which contains the same files as the download above. Download and unzip it. Later you can run (some) examples directly by executing in a shell the command like "java -jar jacop.jar Sudoku". The last parameter specify the name of the Example from ExamplesJaCoP. You can also specify a name of flatzinc file containing the problem description. Some examples use external files so to run them you need to unjar jacop.jar file by running the command "jar xvf jacop.jar". We used the newest Java 1.6 to create a jar file and you will need also Java 1.6 in order to run it.

Our users have requested access to older sources. From now we will keep older sources still accessible. However, the older versions are not maintained.
